Title: Ok til it wears down
Review: Use these almost every day and after a few months the plastic on the nodules wore down so much that the blender knocks it out of place if I don’t hold it while it makes a smoothie. The actual Ninja brand I’ve had for over a year and hasn’t worn down at all.

Title: Better than the original
Review: We’ve had our Ninja for about 8 years now, and we’ve just gotten used to very slightly leaky blending cups. I don’t remember if they leaked (a little) the whole time I’ve been using them. I think I’m just so happy to have a great little smoothy/sauce blender that weighs next to nothing and takes up so little space. It’s been a trooper over the years. I’m now making smoothies for four instead of two, so we need more blending cups. To my surprise, these cups don’t leak when we blend in them! I’m not going to toss the old ones. I just have to wipe the blender down after each use, and our landfills are full enough. An easy five-star rating for these and the whole Ninja system! Yes it’s plastic, but 8 years on, it still turns out healthy and delicious smoothies!

Title: Love, hate relationship
Review: When I first received these cups, I was kind of surprised that this listing was actually for two cups. It’s not all that clear. The listing says “cups” plural but it never identifies that this is a pair. Anyway, my first impression was this was a nice improvement from the stock Nutri Ninji cups. For one, the flip cover/cap on the stock bottle has a design that causes my nose to hit the cap when I’m tilting the cup all the way back during a sip. Not so much with this cover. The stock one also has a rubber gasket underneath the cap which can be tough to clean. This one is all plastic but seems to seal just as well. Speaking of gaskets, the biggest improvement with this lid, is that the gasket between the lid and the cup is a nice thick rubber. The stock cup lid has a large o-ring type gasket that sits between the lid and cup. Unfortunately, this gasket is thin and on more than one occasion I’ve tightened too tightly and the gasket has pushed out the side. I wouldn’t realize until shaking my smoothie and liquid shoots out all over the place. I can’t see this happening with this cup lid. The rubber is a good half inch tall and more integrated into the lid itself.So what do I hate. The mouth opening is awkward. I end up getting a lot of liquid on my upper lip which wouldn’t occur with the stock lid. I’ll continue to use this one over the stock lid but there is room for improvement there.
