Title: Great value. No pulldown. Buy this over delta and moen. Shop Krauss too.
Review: Please watch the video. This is an amazing product but be advised it does not have a pull-down faucet feature. Very high quality the finish is beautiful. Also some reviews say the shape does not match the marketing photos. Hansgrohe has addressed this and it is very much like the pictures and holds that symmetrical shape of the spring. Also some reviews said the spring was too strong and I do not see this here. It must have been redesigned. It’s a beautiful unit and you can’t go wrong buying something approved by Costco product analysts. I would highly recommend this product or Krauss. Those are the best value and quality as compared to big box store brands like delta and moen in my opinion.

Title: Awesome faucet
Review: The only drawback to this faucet is that the pull-down part is metal coated plastic. Normally, I would knock off a star for this, but faucets costing triple the price are the same way. The pull-down hose is braided stainless though, which many faucets in this price range do not have. This faucet is super easy to install. The ring has screws on it, so you tighten the ring by hand and then use a long screwdriver to crank it down. WAY better than trying to get a wrench up being the sink. There is no aerator on this faucet. It’s a laminar flow. It’s awesome. Very quiet, and gives the feeling that more water is coming out. The sprayer is fine for my needs. It’s not super high pressure like some, but has great volume. After I put in the first one in my pantry, I bought another for my kitchen a day later. Connection to the water supply is a standard connection. Make sure you tighten by hand, do NOT use any sealant or tape, and then turn it only 1/4 to half turn past hand tight. If you tighten these kind of connectors too much, they leak. It will seem like you need to tighten much more, don’t. Sealant or Teflon tape on these connectors will make them leak.

Title: Leaky
Review: I am having a very frustrating experience with this faucet. The faucet leaked the moment it was installed. The plumber said it was damaged, billed me and left. Amazon and Hansgrohe have together made me foot the 225 installation charge. I am recovering from water damage to my kitchen and floor that has already cost me tens of thousands of dollars and my new cabinets, countertop and floor are all at risk from this leaky faucet shipped by Hansgrohe and Amazon. I will never buy a Hansgrohe faucet again, and will never buy a faucet on Amazon because the installation charges are non-refundable if the faucet turns out to be bad as I learned after contacting Amazon customer service. Amazon shipped me a Kohler Bellera before that and that leaked as well. I got angle stops, an ice-maker box valve and toilet leaks replaced or fixed by the plumber who installed that faucet without any of these issues and he said ‘maybe you were unlucky and received a faucet with a sealing ring that is too thin’. I suspect Amazon is getting bad faucets from some supplier and will not buy anything from Amazon again because of this bad shopping experience that they won’t rectify. I also contacted hansgrohe and made a serious attempt to figure whether it was the faucet or the installation that is at fault. Their customer service said ‘we will ship you a replacement faucet and walk you through installation’. So I would have to duck under a cramped sink, with my shoulder and back problems and install a faucet. I had to decline the offer. They said they were helpless and would not take any responsibility for the leak or give me hard evidence to dispute the plumber’s report which says ‘the faucet is damaged’ and ‘the faucet is internally damaged'(twice). They said ‘the plumber should have contacted us if there was a problem’, but they themselves won’t contact the plumber now. They, like Amazon, obviously view it as my problem and I am at no fault in any of this. This plumbing company(different from the previous one that installed the Kohler faucet) was horrible and their high yelp ratings lie about them, but that does not rule out a bad faucet. Technical support at Hansgrohe is horrible as well. The person questioned whether the plumber installed the black sealing ring(he was bad but it is likely he did and he did not leave the part behind) and accused me of ‘putting words in her mouth’, and get this-she said ‘if you shower water around the faucet base then water will get through the black seal and under the sink’ when I asked ‘if the plumber says the faucet is bad, and the countertop and sink have been checked and are ok with no cracks, what can it be? could it be that the hole in the countertop is too big? could it be that the quartz surface is uneven? how else can the water get through the sealing ring?’. I am just washing big pots and pans sometimes and water splashes on the base of the faucet. The plastic sprayer looks cheap, the side handle is too big and the faucet is chrome and too bulky. They don’t seem to have a brushed nickel model for this faucet. The Kohler Bellera is more elegant.

Title: Beautiful and functional faucet
Review: This faucet is excellent. It took about 30 minutes to remove the old faucet and install this new one. It feels very solid and has a strong water flow via its main setting. The spray setting offers a soft yet powerful spray that feels similar to that from the Hansgrohe shower head. This faucet is a huge upgrade and well worth the money.

Title: Hansgrohe makes quality products.
Review: Had a cheap chinesium faucet that looked just like this Hansgrohe but damaged the floor of the cabinet where it was installed when it began to leak from underneath slowly enough that it wasn’t noticed until damage was done. I’ll never buy a cheap faucet again. The quality of the Hansgrohe was clear when comparing it to the one I removed. I’ve got a Hansgrohe kitchen faucet for many years that works beautifully and looks as good as the day it went in. My Hansgrohe shower head is the best I’ve ever had.

Title: Hansgrohe is still a good brand.
Review: This is our 2nd Hansgrohe faucet. The 1-Handle Tall in Stainless Steel Optic, 04701805 is an investment item. I was concerned since there were some bad reviews. It’s been many months now since the install and I’m still happy. That said, it’s not our main faucet & the water pressure is not as good nor is it as elegant as our similar original faucet from more than 10 years ago. My very handy husband didn’t complain when he installed the faucet so that means no major issue.

Title: Poor quality for Hansgrohe
Review: In less than 2 years, our 2nd unit has failed, in the exact same place, at a most inconvenient time. A flimsy plastic piece, inside of the main unit, failed. We contacted Hansgrohe requesting a full refund and were told to contact Amazon. This is in the process. We were surprised that the second unit had no improvements made. We are hesitant to try a third one, but do not see any other in this style available. We are using the original previous Hansgrohe, again. My husband has gotten efficient at replacing the unit. We recommend looking elsewhere for a similar faucet.
