Title: need to flush for sensor to work
Review: This faucet looks great in a modern kitchen. Those buttons for the spray could be a bit smaller and more elegant but when searching for another faucet (touch-free) there weren’t any options in this price range. Installation was straightforward, although, initially the sensor didn’t work. It ‘clicked’ when moving your hand in front of it but no water came. It turned out that you need to complete step 12A (the flush of the hose) from the installation guide for the sensor to work. A bit strange but after that: all fixed.

Title: A bit hard to install, but a really good product
Review: I had very little space under the countertop so there was no room for the wrench to turn when it comes to tightening the bolt. I even had a Pfister faucet ranch (from other products), but all the lines/nuts would not fit through the center channel. Went to home-depot (since I had to get the water lines), but nothing really worked. At the end, it was just elbow grease. Boy, I wish Pfister had designed it better. Afterwards, it worked beautifully. BTW, you can share the same power plug with a garbage disposal as long as the air switch won’t cut out the power to the plug. I really like the functions and the look of it.

Title: The worst part of our dream kitchen
Review: We bought this faucet for the modern look & hands free option. Looks great but the hands free doesn’t work like I would expect & we deactivated after a month. Previously we had a moen hands free that we loved but their new models have sensors on the side and we wanted it in front. With our moen the hands free would activate any time your hands were in front of the sensor. With this Pfister the handle must always be turned to the on position if you want to activate the sensor. We kind of got used to it after a while but guests could never figure it out. They would go up to the sink & try and pull the handle & no water. The way the sensor works is like an on/off switch. Not like any sensors you have previous experience with. It’s annoying that we paid more for a feature we don’t use, but there’s worse. The range of motion from a trickle to full blast is so small that it’s extremely sensitive & hard to get the pressure you want. The worst part yet? The toggle between the stream & spray has always been sticky. And now it’s permanently stuck on spray. Wtf. I have to make several bottles a day with a spray nozzle & I can’t control the pressure. Such garbage.

Title: Works great but after 39 years of moving a handle
Review: Works great but after 39 years of moving a handle, it is VERY hard to get used to. Like moving the location of your dishes in a cabinet and then going back to get a dish and they’re not there…HOWEVER, To install this faucet, the nut under the counter is very inaccessible, especially on a deep farm sink. They sell a tool that, for a $300.00 faucet, should be IN The box… I don’t even care if the price went up $20 to cover the tool’s retail cost. Imagine you get the thing home, make time to install and then can’t tighten the nut enough to keep it stable. So now, you have to send for the tool and then crawl back under the sink to re-do the job. This, at my age, has gotten to be a real PITA, and I’m not THAT OLD YET. So, the faucet slops around for a few more days, and then the process starts over again. Oh…and don’t forget you e gotta pull out all of the crap under the cabinet to squeeze back under there…..phew, I’m exhausted just rethinking about it. Hey PFISTER…. wake up

Title: Look great works great
Review: The product was relatively easy to install but I did have someone do it for me. It looks beautiful and has a good arch place in the water in the center of my sink. The motion detector works very well however you have to be patient it takes a moment after you move your hand in front of it for the water to stop. I do like the automatic shut off to ensure you don’t leave the water running indefinitely. I highly recommend this product.

Title: Do not buy the motion sensor version of this faucet
Review: I’ve had this faucet for about six months or so, and it looks good. The manual parts of it all feel good and quality. (The plumber did complain it was hard to install, but I can’t comment on the install beyond that.) What drives me CRAZY is that every time I turn it on manually, the sensor turns it off. So I always have to turn it on manually, it turns off, and I have to wave my hand to turn it on again. It’s twice as many steps to turn the faucet on than a regular one. Why do I have to do this: It leaks if it’s just turned off with the motion sensor, so I have to turn it off manually, too. I complained to customer service, and they sent me a replacement part but the part is buried in the mechanism and didn’t come with any instructions. I’m not keen to pay a plumber to fix this when it broke so fast so am thinking about getting rid of it altogether and replacing it with a better brand or just with the manual version. In summary, buyer beware of the motion sensor design and manufacture. I would buy a higher quality different brand or just buy the regular manual version of this faucet, which should work great and look great.

Review: The product itself is fine. Good quality and the installation relatively straightforward for a “knowledgeable newbie” like myself. The issue I’ve run in to is the poor support from Pfister in Canada. Tried to order the optional battery pack, and the Customer Support line for “ordering parts” doesn’t actually sell the part and all the could do is refer me to resellers who don’t sell it either. That includes Amazon who don’t stock the product either. The customer support also referred me to the Wholesale line who don’t sell to individuals.
