Title: Love it, a multi-tasking wonder!
Review: This is a really amazing appliance. I use it everyday, multiple times a day. It’s an absolute workhorse at dinner time – steaming vegetables, roasting potatoes, grilling garlic bread, etc. The grill feature is also great for making hot sandwiches and hot dogs. I use the air fry setting too, for homemade sweet potato fries and roasted cauliflower. Most nights it acts as basically a second oven, which helps a lot with getting dinner ready. Also – and this is important – the standard quick microwave setting is easy to use, even while sleepy; I use it every morning to heat coffee.Regarding some of the negative reviews on here, I can sympathize with the folks who have gotten lemons – I would be upset too – but I doubt if that is the norm. The 20 people who have had negative experiences are much more likely to write reviews than the 2000 people who had normal, positive experiences. Mine has been in constant use for almost a year and hasn’t had a single problem; it still works just as great as Day 1. There’s probably a lot of others out there with similarly great experiences who haven’t taken the time to say so.
Some pros:
1) the oven-style door — I like this much more than I thought I would. It makes it so much easier to maneuver plates of food in and out.
2) the shortcuts printed inside the door — Very handy when I’m trying to remember the options that come pre-programmed.
3) the sensor cook mode — In most microwaves, sensor cook results in overcooking, but this machine has never failed to get it spot on.
4) the included rack and grill pan — I use the grill feature more than I thought I might, and it works great! I also use the rack by itself when I want to heat two dishes at the same time.
5) a popcorn button that doesn’t burn your popcorn!
6) cleans up easily
7) it’s roomy – it fits big plates no problem – you could probably roast a whole chicken in this thing if you wanted to
8) cools down quick and doesn’t overcook your dish if you don’t take it out right away, unlike a regular oven
9) eliminates the need for a toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, etc, so you save counter space and storage space
Some cons:
1) The quick reference shortcuts printed on the inside of the door are starting to show some wear and probably will not be legible in a few years. Maybe I will have them memorized by then….
2) If something messy explodes onto the ceiling of the microwave, it’s not the easiest task to clean around and behind the grill burner.
3) Maybe not really a con, but it has a lot of features and capabilities, which could be intimidating to novice microwavers or the technologically-phobic. I find it to be pretty easy though, and I’m not a rocket scientist.
All in all, I love this machine, and this is coming from someone with a small kitchen who is also anti-gadget in general, so I really have to be sold on something to give it space in the kitchen.

Title: This device device is amazing, especially in a college student’s apartment
Review: This device device is amazing, especially in a college student’s apartment. For me and my girlfriend it has replaced the need for a microwave, an oven (the oven the landlord provided was broken), and it can do combined cooking. My only complaint is that the oven alone only goes up to 400 degrees which is a little low, but in combined convection/microwave mode the microwaves make up for the rest of the heat. Also I don’t know what the review “Too complicated for practical use” was talking about. The oven and microwave functions are easy to learn and use and the cooking presets are written on the microwave itself (Though we don’t use the presets). Having said that, if spinning a dial twice and pressing the ok button twice is too much effort then a regular microwave may be better for you.

Title: Be Aware of Clearance Requirements Before You Buy
Review: I was excited to try this combo convection oven / microwave. Unfortunately, the clearance requirements would not work in my kitchen. These requirements are not described in the Amazon description or specs pages, nor on the manufacturer’s website. I found out that this would not work in my kitchen only after reading the included instruction manual, having already received the product. The unit requires 20 centimeters of clearance above, and 10 centimeters of clearance on either side.I have a “cubby” hole in my cabinets for a microwave oven. Technically not a built-in with trim, just a space in the cabinets for a microwave to sit with only about 2″ clearance above, and 1″ on either side.I turned the unit on the convection baking option at max temp (400 degrees) and let it run for about 10 minutes. The top and sides get very hot, almost too hot to touch. Therefore, I decided it would not be prudent to ignore the manufacturer’s clearance requirements, and with disappointment, sent the unit back to Amazon. The unit was packaged very well, and seems to be a good sturdy build. For the few minutes I did run it, it heated up quickly. If you have room on your counter top, or clearance in your microwave cubby, I think this would be a great buy.

Title: Failure to stand behind warranty
Review: I contacted Samsung on June 6 (about eleven months after receiving this microwave), both by phone and chat. After troubleshooting with the agent (I spent a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes with the agents), I was promised a link to return the microwave. It was still under warranty. I did not receive the link. I now have a (not inexpensive) microwave that does not heat and is slightly less than one year old. There is no recourse with Amazon, as far as I can tell. They simply refer me to the manufacturer. I would certainly not buy this microwave, or any other, from Samsung through Amazon ever again. If I could leave zero stars, I would do so.

Title: Powerful
Review: This microwave is much more than a microwave. We love the door opening top to bottom, which is why we purchased this item. Haven’t used the “oven” portion of the unit. Remember you have to press which service you are using (microwave or oven), otherwise the oven versus the microwave starts.

Title: Not to reliably
Review: First one lasted about 5 years and the turntable stopped working. That was quickly followed by the microwave completely failing. Second unit has lasted only 6 months. The display flashes on and off and strange numbers come up. Haven’t been able to connect to customer service yet.
