Title: Great for dog hair!

Review: We have siberian huskies and had purchased the Bissell pet one before and it worked amazing, but by our own faults we had somehow misplaced a few pieces of the vacuum anyhow we needed to find a replacement, after a thorough search we were lead to this vacuum, the details of this vacuum fit everything we were looking for, strong suctioning while using the hose, the handle attachment or even just the floor roller, for dog hair, lots of dog hair, lol, compact but not to compact that it couldn’t hold alot in the canister before having to be dumped, detachability so it can go to the car, a bedroom, etc, simple instruction of how to use it, whether with the roller on the bottom turned on or off, where to pull up from for the lift off accessibility, things like that and then we really loved that the vacuum has lights so we can see things being vacuumed before they get vacuumed, this vacuum is great having the cutting ability at the bottom so the dog hair doesn’t make the roller stop spinning was an amazing idea, the cutter IS NOT something you could cut your fingers on FYI, the only downfall I really saw to this vacuum is the space between the roller and its casing is very thin so lots of things that could be vacuumed up with a regular vacuum like pistachio shells for instance would stop the roller from rolling and there’s not enough space to slide your finger in to push it out, you literally have to take the bottom off to get anything that’s slightly bigger out, which I guess you could just use the hand tool for that stuff but I didn’t think to, the best part is that Bissell supports dogs so I will always purchase Bissell just for that fact alone but their vacuums are always a great price for the incredible capabilities these vacuums contain in its self alone, between the new capabilities, the power behind the vacuums and the nice sleek designs the Bissell brands are my absolute favorite when searing for a good vacuum

Title: Excellent working vacuum

Review: I love this vacuum and give it a 10. It works better than expected. I love that the canister empties at the bottom and it really sucks up well. It’s quieter than my old bagged vacuum and the pet tool is a plus. The low/high carpet setting is great, the floor setting, turning off the brush makes doing carpet, floor and rugs a breeze. The long electric cord makes it so I can vacuum other parts of the house without having to unplug and plug in again in different part of the house. I definitely recommend this vacuum. One complaint I have is; the hose attachment is too short and needs a longer hose attachment so I don’t have to bend over so far as I don’t want to detach the feature that makes it a small handheld vacuum.

Title: Good suction but heavy vacuum

Review: After going through a new vacuum cleaner every year because so much pet hair gets stuck in the rollers, I went with this vacuum as it is made for pet hair and claims it won’t get tangled. So far so good! I have 2 Dalmatians and on my first pass through the house I picked up ALOT of hair and dirt, see second photo. The suction seems to work great on my rugs and vinyl flooring. I have always used cordless vacuum, so I was a little upset about the cord, but it’s not the end of the world. I do like that the cord retracts automatically with the press of a button. Assembly of the vacuum was minimal and easy to do. Taking apart and cleaning the debris compartment was easy. My main complaint is that this is a big, heavy, and loud vacuum. It really takes some muscle to push this thing around town and it is not ideal for small spaces. However, for purposes of getting dirt and pet hair up, which was my goal, it gets the job done!

Title: Great for long pet hair.

Review: I bought a Shark upright vacuum that had Pet in the name. Not sure what pets they tested it on but I’m guessing like turtles and snakes because my dogs hair instantly wrapped itself around the roller brush from end to end like it was designed to do that. Couldn’t even finish one use before I had to cut the hair off and literally comb it out of each and every brush tuft on the roller. Back it went!I searched smeo more and read the descriptions and reviews a little more carefully and decided on this Bissel. It was $100 more than the Shark but was designed specifically to not wrap hair around the roller so I bought it.Very nice vacuum. It’s very well built and everything has a nice quality feel to it. The canister pops off easily and empties easily without having to reach in and pull stuff out. The hose wand also pops on and off easily with the push of a button and the mechanism that holds the wand in place is sturdy which is important with these type of designs as the wand is also the handle so it takes a lot of abuse when using and lifting it and carrying it around. And speaking of carrying it. It’s a high quality vacuum but that quality makes it heavy. It can be pretty tiring on stairs. It has great maneuverability as it swivels and seems to have pretty good suction. Gets a lot of really fine dirt out of my carpets that my old vacuum seemed to be missing. And I’m happy to say. Not a bit of dog hair on the roller brush. It all ends up in the canister and it does a good job of getting it off the carpet. Although with long pet hair getting it up is not the issue. Getting it through the vacuum without catching and wrapping on anything and everything is the issue and this vacuum handles it very well.It has a nice head light that works pretty well. The turbo brush tool is the only one I’ve used so far that actually works and keeps the little brush spinning as you use it. Most stall out if you put even the lightest pressure on them. This one you can use with normal pressure and it just works. The other brush tool has some funky course bristles that make it more like a scrubber and less like a brush. The crevice tool has an LED light in the end that comes on when you attach it. Kind of cool but it has a battery in it that takes up about half the diameter of the tube so this cuts down on the flow. So they made the suction end smaller to match. It works but I’d rather had a normal crevice tool. Also the battery inside the tube means it only fits on it’s storage post in one direction so it’s fiddly to put away until you remember which direction it has to face. More gimmick than useful. The auto cord retract is nice. This is my vacuum for my man cave area but my wife always steals my vacuums since the rest of the house is central vac and she doesn’t always feel like hauling out the big hose and stuff. Fine with me but she NEVER winds the cord back up…or returns it for that mater. I usually find it somewhere in the house with the cord draped over it in tangles. At least with this one so far she pushes the button and lets the cord put itself away…but I still have to go and find it.If you can live with the weight and need a vacuum that can handle long pet hair this is a good choice. It works as advertised is very well built and hopefully that quality will give it a long life worth the price.

Review: Out of the box it was easy to put together, the construction seems of good quality, and it’s much quieter than the vacuum its replacing. After one use:Out of the box: It did a great job in pulling tons of cat hair (I have 3) out of the carpets, and the accessory upholstery brush worked pretty well on some fabric chairs and my couch. In my small dining room alone it pulled two full tanks of dust and hair out of the carpet with none clogging the brush roller. The accessory hose is a little bit short, and kind of awkward to maneuver (with the upholstrey tool you have this 2.5 foot long solid wand on three feet of hose connected to the bottom of the vacuum) but that could also be helpful in reaching higher places and vacuuming out corners and crevices. The accessories seem pretty good. The light on the crevice tool is a little bit cheesy (single LED powered by watch batteries) but still kind of nice to have. The auto cord winder is nice, but I feel like to get the auto winder, I gave up about 10ft of cord length, which would have been nice to have too.Seems a bit mediocre on the hardwood floors, but I haven’t had a chance yet to give it a full fair test.So far I’m very happy with this vacuum, it does exactly what I bought it for (removing copious amounts of dust and cat hair from carpet) and does it well. The accessories and the cord winder seem good right now and for the price I’m happy with the purchase. As time goes on I’ll update the review, especially if anything breaks or goes wrong. The vacuum I replaced was a hoover pet pro, and it did a fantastic job for almost 10 years before getting old and tired. Lets see if this one does as well.

Review: I never thought I’d write a review praising a vacuum but this is so worthy! I have 4 cats so needless to say we see a lot of cat hair around the house. One pass over with this vacuum and my area rugs looks as good as the day we bought them; I haven’t seen them so clean in ages. The carpeting on the stairs, where my cats love to sleep is also restored to its original beauty.Other reviews mentioned it’s not good on bare floors and I do agree but I have a robot vac for that, this one is solely for getting the cat hair out of our carpets and upholstery. I couldn’t be happier!

Review: We have been using cordless vacuums for years and we used this as soon as it came to our door. OMG!! The amount of hair and dust etc that came up from our carpets were disturbing! We vacuum daily too. We have 2 cats and a dog. HIGHLY recommend. This is probably the best purchase I have EVER bought on Amazon!

Review: I’m super impressed with this vacuum. The power it has to pull up dog & cat hair off of thick carpet is incredible. I love the retractable cord and the little lights on it that help you see in the nooks and crannies. It’s a bit heavy and bulky but if you want something with power that can pull up the hair and really give your carpets a deep clean, this is the vacuum you need

Review: My only complaint is the bristles on one of the attachments were squished. Otherwise so far so good. I used it once and it worked well. I bought this cuz I have long hair and it always got tangled in my last vacuum cleaner.
