Title: Great lightweight vacuum!
Review: The Bissell Zing has plenty of suction power. The wheels are rubberized to protect the floors. There is a convenient sliding control to lessen the suction power on throw rugs. The wand does come apart when working with carpet, but easy enough to fix. My floors are wood or linoleum and the Zing does great on them as well as the throw rugs. The dusting and crevasse tool work well. The attachments are standard size if you want to use others as well.

Review: I have owed this vacuum for a few years and its a work horse. Yes its simple and small and Yes the poles do come apart and the cord is short and the floor head is not my favorite, BUT this thing is reliable and powerful and it just keeps working. Its super easy to clean, its all washable, even the filter, or if you don’t want to occasionally wash it, they sell replacement filters. I have 2 medium dogs and 3 large cats…so lots of hair. This vacuum has out preformed my expensive back pack vacuum, that one died after1.5 years, and got replaced with a Zing. I have been using the Zing now for two years, I vacuum all of my main floor, (it’s about 1800 sq ft) about every other day and I’m always amazed and disgusted (lol) by the amount of hair and dirt collected off the floor in just 2 days. it’s small and lightweight and powerful and to remedy the cons of it, I use a 15 foot extension cord and only have to move plugs twice. For the floorhead, I bought one I liked better and it wasn’t much to pay for something that made my work easier. Okay, now about the poles. I agree they are very annoying, but I will tell you that over time they somehow wear in and stay together, maybe they get scratched or dirty or worn in or something, but I do remember them falling apart a lot when it was new and now it doesn’t really happen. Overall it’s a great, powerful, inexpensive, vacuum that’s easy to operate, clean and use.

Title: Good suction but….
Review: This vacuum has some good points. It has good suction, works well on hard floors without making a scraping noise, handles well and is easy to carry and easy to empty and get back together. It is a sleek little race car of a machine. But, and you knew there would be one, the hose is very stiff and inflexible making it hard to store with the nozzle and telescoping sections attached. The hose is made from some kind of plastic and I wonder how long it will hold up without cracking or splitting. I also wonder if it will become more flexible over time. The first section of the telescoping rods also comes off in use. Very aggravating. I would try to use a rubber band around the inner section as suggested in a video but since I have to take it apart there to store I’m not sure about doing that yet. If it weren’t for that stiff hose and the sections coming apart it would be a very good vacuum, instead it is just good.

Title: It’s a good secondary vacuum
Review: I like it, but I had to make it work for me. The beater brush is supposed to be retractable, but it doesn’t retract high enough for it to not reach the floor and I did not want the brush to touch my area rug. So, I had to put tape over the beater brush (see my photo), and now it glides across my area rug without damaging the fibers. When I first tried it without the tape over it, I flipped over the floor attachment and saw the fibers stuck in the brush. The other attachments like the small brush, and the concentrator nozzle work great. I use them for corners, molding, etc. For my hardwood floor is, my process is to sweep all the dirt up against various walls throughout the space and then go to each wall and use the concentrator nozzle to suck it up. The suction power is good, and the shorter distance from the floor to the main unit, the better. So, for example, for more suction, attach the floor attachment directly to the hose that is connected to the main unit, instead of with that extra hose in the middle. I like that it’s so portable, very lightweight and easy to pick up and move from area to area. I also like the retractable cord. You have to make sure that it’s laid out flat on the floor and in front of the hole it retracts into in order for it to work properly.
