Title: Great Cordless but short battery life.
Review: I really love my Dyson. But two glaring mistakes stick out with this one. First, the battery dies FAST! We thought it was too fast and even had Dyson send us a replacement- nope. Just dies fast is all. You’ll get about 30 minutes on reg power and about 15 on high. Then, it takes like 3 hours to charge. Second? The design of the wall hanger is weird. Every time we hang up to charge we have to really give it a good push and it’s gotten to the point that tie cord is now permanently bent. Hopefully we dont meed to replace in a year. Other than that, the suction is SUPERIOR to anything else on the market, which is I guess what we pay for. So, I’m still happy I bought it, but a longer battery life and less charging time would definitely be helpful.

Review: I bought this Dyson V8 as an addition to my upright Hoover that I’ve had for years. I’ve always wanted to try one but they’re so expensive. This was a great prime deal. I wanted a handheld unit for some of the more difficult areas to get into like the cat tower and nooks and crannies. I tried it on the cat tower and was super impressed. The suction was really great and the accessories included were great. They are so easy to swap in and out. I let it charge overnight and then went to use it on the rest of the house. I have some shag carpet, a rug, standard carpet and tiles. It work great on all of them. I found the max mode later and used it on my area rug to deep clean it. I was impressed. Then I realized I can use it with my car! I can’t wait to clean my car. I have a vacuum for my car but it’s terrible and I know this will be better. Cleaning the vacuum itself is also very easy. One of my biggest issues with my upright is it’s such a pain to open the canister to empty it. This one is so easy. Also, my upright is pretty loud and this one is so much quieter. I was very happily surprised. It’s been so great so far and it’s going to replace two vacuum cleaners. I’m not using my upright anymore. I bought four more accessories as well to make it even more flexible. Charging it is very easy and the wall charging mount is very useful. I haven’t mounted it yet but I will later. I’m extremely pleased, especially with the prime deal that I got and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Review: Nightmare with Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner I want to share my frustrating experience with Dyson here—maybe someone from their team will see it. I bought a Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner on Amazon in early July. One month in, it stopped charging, and the dust container jammed. I contacted Dyson support, sent it in for repair, and was told it was fixed within two days. They asked me to pick it up from their service center, which is very far from me. I asked if they could send it back to me, and they said they’d check with the repair center and get back to me within a couple of days—no one ever did. After two days, I followed up, and they gave me the same response. By the third time, they said it had been sent out four days ago (without notifying me), but I missed the delivery because I was at work. It was returned to the service center. I called Dyson again, explained my situation, and they sent it again (so they said), providing a tracking number. After a week, there were still no updates. I contacted the service center, and they told me it wasn’t their responsibility anymore; I needed to contact UPS. UPS informed me that the package was lost in transit. I reached out to Dyson support again, even speaking to a supervisor, who promised it would be resolved within a week—and if not, they’d send me a new machine (another false promise). A week later, Dyson said UPS had found the machine and would return it to the service center, after which they’d send it back to me. Two weeks passed with no updates. When I followed up, Dyson told me UPS still hadn’t delivered the machine to their service center. After asking for a supervisor again, I was suddenly told I needed to pick it up from the service center in Plainview, NY—where it had apparently been sitting all this time! When I asked them to ship it to me, they claimed they don’t ship cordless machines anymore, even though they did so just a month ago. Despite escalating to a supervisor once again, I’m still waiting for my vacuum.

Review: So easy, quick cleanup, lightweigh, fluffs large throw rugs. Does not hurt my neck / shoulder as had cervical surgery twice and vacuuming was a struggle, battery lasts enough for 900 square foot hardwood floors on low setting and for 1 carpeted room on high. Love it ! I have become OCD with my vacuuming!
