Title: Worth the Hype!

Review: My last vacuum (Shark) went out after 2 years and I was in desperate need of a quick decision for a new one. After reading the reviews carefully and considering the low price point, I went ahead and ordered hoping to be as impressed as other reviewers. I definitely am! I will say that the pet attachment quit working after the first use, though I honestly expected that as I had the same issue with a similarly designed attachment that came with a previous vacuum. The level of performance though far outweighs this issue and still works wonderful even with all the hair my dogs like to leave around for me, to the point that I won’t even knock a start for it. The profile is larger than my previous one and a much lighter weight which I actually appreciate! So easy to bring around with my and carry up stairs, etc. The whole design is incredibly user friendly, with all the same features as my previous, higher-priced Shark but way more accessible and far better performance! It’s so easy to switch between normal upright use and the hose feature, and is the quickest and simplest to empty of all the vacuums I’ve owned prior. The suction is incredibly powerful and my carpet honestly seems cleaner than they’ve been since they were new. I was amazed at how much dirt and hair this picks up after even just one pass and love that there are multiple tools to use with edges and furniture. The edge feature is especially impressive as it is slim enough to fit in all my little creases and corners, and the suction stays powerful enough to pull up all the bits that would usually have gotten left behind in the nooks and crannies. Definitely recommend!!

Title: This vacuum sucks—in a good way!!

Review: This is a great vacuum cleaner. Easy to assemble, easy to access tools, easy to clean out, lightweight and maneuverable, and best of all, it really works. After assembling it, I used it on one of our rugs that I had regularly vacuumed with our old Hoover, and the dirt tank was nearly half full after less than two minutes. Amazing to see what has been lurking in that rug! The colors even look brighter. I’ve used it throughout the house with similar results.

Title: OK VACUUM FOR THE MONEY

Review: I’ve had this vacuum for 1 year and 4 months. I always wait a decent period of time before I review items. Pros: Lightweight. Cord rewind. Decent suction. Easy to clean. The vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry around by the handle on top of the canister. I have 2 yellow labs so good suction was a must. It definitely takes care of the fur on the floors and the furniture. I like the cord rewind but it feels weird that it is on the opposite side as the button used to rewind it. I LOVE how easily the canister and the parts inside come apart for a thorough cleaning, so that odors do not build up inside. Cons: Lock Mechanism broke after 1 year, one of the attachment mounts on the side of the canister broke off in the first week. The hose is too short and the attachment that comes with it is also too short. I cannot even go up a standard 8’ wall to get cobwebs out of corners. The vacuum does not “lay down” far enough to get under beds or tables. The lock mechanism that keeps the vacuum upright broke after about a year. I have no kids, it has not been handled roughly. So now if I need to use attachments I have to lay it down on the floor. The mounts for the attachments are plastic and very weak. I bumped the wall within the first week and one broke right off. The hose is definitely too short and not flexible enough. There is no hope vacuuming under beds or coffee tables, or any semi-low piece of furniture. When using the hose/attachments it falls over (even before the lock mechanism broke) because it is so lightweight. I had high hopes for this vacuum, I wish it was sturdier.

Title: Impressed!

Review: I have owned a cleaning company for a decade. I have always used shark. I end up replacing them yearly. Decided to change it up and bought this Eureka. I set it up and took it for a test of some dirty floors covered with pet hair, leaves, small rocks, dirt, and stuffing from a dog toy. Let me tell you, this vacuum picked it all up in one swipe and even got the edges next to baseboards without getting out the hand tool. It’s about the same weight as my shark vertex ( lightweight stick vacuum). The pet/stairs attachment is larger than shark and actually works great! The power cord is long!!! I can do three rooms without changing plug ins at each room. It has a small hook to hold the cord up while your cleaning. The dust cup removes and empties easily. Great suction. Overall, I am happy with my new purchase. If this holds up for at least a year, then I will continue buying Eureka vacuums. Already totally sold on the functionality and ease of use. Highly recommend for at home use on carpets and hard floors!
