Title: Great back up vacuum

Review: I have used upright Hoover vacuums for years as a backup to my other vacuum. This was reasonably priced and works perfect on all of my area rugs as well as my wooden floors. It is basically a no frills vacuum, uses bags which is what I always want in a vacuum. It came packaged very well in a sturdy box, was simple to put together. For people who have large houses and more than one floor it is always helpful to have more than one vacuum to prevent lugging them up the stairs. The suction is very good on this vacuum and there is an extension cord for picking up loose items such as dog hair. Even though I use it as a second vacuum it would also work well as your principle vacuum.

Review: My second in so many years but i love this vacuum better priced then most easy to unclog suction could be better it tends to loose ovwr the years but for the price its easy enough to buy a nrw one best thing to remember is its easy to unclog clean out etc works excellent But do your self a favor and take off this bottom piece thats for holding the pet cleaning attacment save your self alot of hassel having to stop and unclog it sometimes the people who come up with the designing for theses tend to over think it

Title: Tools don’t lock

Review: For the most part, I love this vacuum. After years of bagless, I finally admitted that, with bad allergies, bagged is the only way. Ended up buying this because we are dealing with a flea issue and a dust buster wasn’t going to cut it, hardwood floors or not. The main issue I have is that the tools don’t lock onto the hose, so they fall off constantly when vacuuming the couch. Probably not a big concern with normal use, but if you are relying on the tools for half the cleaning, it’s very annoying.After two months of constant use, the suction is still great and no horrid smells (another pet peeve), which is a huge improvement over past bagged vacuums. For the price, I am thrilled with this purchase.

Title: So light and powerful

Review: I have only ever used Hoover brand name because I like them. I bought this model and didn’t realize how light it was. I tried it and was worried about the power, but it is AMAZING! It can carry 2 of the 3 tools onboard. Perhaps it has a spot for all 3, but I have not read the directions yet. The unit was so, so easy to put together. Less than 1 minute. I love how the bag slides into a holder now. No filter falling off the pipe like some of the old models at times! I am surprised because I didn’t think a newer model would be as good as one I have from 20 years ago, but it is!! I am pretty happy, and have already used it all over my house. I am so happy with this purchase!

Title: Carpet only! Hose/wand/tools suction is TERRIBLE

Review: I’m a housekeeper and go through about 1 to 2 vacuums each year. I have always bought Hoover upright bagged vacuums. They are affordable and while they tend to be quite loud & a bit heavy, the suction can’t be beat- whether I’m vacuuming carpet or using the 10 foot extension hoses, wands & tools I purchase on ebay for my business. I LOVE the Hoover windtunnel max, however, they unfortunately have stopped making it. So, desperate for another vacuum, I purchased this one because it looked similar to the windtunnel max. Boy what a disappointment this model has turned out to be.In my haste, I neglected to check reviews, and features. I agree with the review about the carpeting- That is about the only great thing this vacuum does. And it is my experience nowadays that most people- if they have carpeting, it is just a few simple area rugs, so vacuuming carpeting well is not my number 1 priority when it comes to vacuum performance.So, I need a vacuum that has outstanding suction performance when it comes to using extension hoses and wands and dusting attachments…..which this does NOT. (I buy bags in bulk and change them after every house so there’s never a question as to the bag being too full). The cord on this (25 feet) is also shorter than the wind tunnel max (30 feet). While that might not be important to some people, for a housekeeper, the longer the cord, the quicker we can clean an entire house- because you don’t have to keep stopping to go reposition the vacuum or move it from room to room, to different outlets.In addition to the poor suction, the vacuum itself is bigger, bulkier, heavier and does not feel as ergonomic. The noise on this one has a higher pitch which makes it seem louder than other models- definitelya negative. There is NO OFF lever for the beater bar for vacuuming hard floors or using the tools, also a YUGE negative.Today I went over a hallway that had some debris (grass & dirt tracked in from the outdoors) 4 times and it just wouldn’t suck it all up. This is SOOOOO frustrating!!I guess its time to switch brands, so long Hoover. And Hoover, if you happen upon this review, PLEASE! IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT “NEW & IMPROVE IT” OR, STOP MANUFACTURING IT!!!Sincerely, the frustrated housekeeper.

Title: Broken part

Review: There is a white piece that holds the hose and it was broken when it arrived. It appears that the box was retaped and had been opened since being at the factory. There are two handles in the box, instead of 1, but the cracked piece compromises the strength of the handle.Now we are left with an assembled vac that would be a pain in the neck to rebox to return. Not satisfied with this purchase.

Review: I love love LOVE this stream lined light weight vacuum.I live in the desert so I have dirt blown in with any kind of wind. I have 5 dogs, 1 sheds.Easy to use, quality built and functions really well. The belt does not slip with harder work and the bag slips right in the slot without a bunch of hallabalu.We took it completely apart to clean it well and we had little trouble getting the pieces together.I love the new Hoover look!!
